Jordan Daniels is an artist interested in the poetics of photosensitivity and the vulnerable nature of presence. Drawing inspiration from herbalism, magic, and love, she uses historical processes of photography to forge localized mythologies surrounding her immediate environment. Jordan grounds her practice with the erosional force of renewal to explore our role as human beings in the natural world and the spiritual realm. She received her BFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and is currently based in Philadelphia.
