A series of photographs chronicling the aggregation of my dead skin as it builds up in my bathtub over the course of a winter semester. Inspired by the phenomenon of ‘wintering,’ in which the cold season is embraced as an occasion for intense healing, ritual, and nurture, the changing state of my body during this time is documented through a slow shaping and reformation of its own discarded matter.
